Arneh the Vigorous and his gang
When vanquishing Joko's Domain, I came across this geezer and despite several tries, just cannot seem to kill him before amassing -60DP.
Does anyone have any recommendations (other than those that I have already read on the wiki) that would help me clear him and his group?
I have tried several approaches, flagging heroes, body blocking and different skills but cant seem to find the right combination.
I think that the main problem is the large number of enemies with Vow of Silence as they stop all my caster heroes in their tracks!

Can't really remember how i vanquished it off the top of my head, but looking at the map of where he is on wiki, is it possible for you to flag your heros back in worms to the sandy part just south and then pull him to them ?

Use more melee heroes, such as a Ranger, Dervish &/or Warrior? If I recall, Broad Head Arrow works against Vow of Silence (it's not a spell).

Aye, if the problem is spell immunity to first thing that should have come to mind is to use a physway team build instead of a caster spell team build. Not really rocket science. It isn't neccessary to always stick to meta, show some creative spark. You'll become a better player.

It is possible to pull him down the hill to the wurms.... that is how I did it. Pull just a few as far as possible and try to pick em off 1 at a time because there will always be at least one that follows.
BHA works well too.....
that being said I would recommend that you bring plenty of DP removal for Joko's Domain... it is a difficult vanq.

I tried this one with a PUG that should have died screaming in the flames, but somehow we stumbled through it after we had to use cons.
I would recommend that you bring some anti-shout skills to nullify "We Shall Return" from him and the cavaliers. Vocal Minority lasts a long time and also affects "nearby" foes. You could also drop. Perhaps an anti signet skill can work too, but then you are using entire bars just for one type of enemy.

smite heros with signets
best way to fight undead is with smiters. there's lots of other foes In Jokos but still the smite line will help you ALOT.
U can use some mo/mes or mes/mo heros with mantra of inscriptions and 4-5 smite sigs. Also for melee heros, U can use stone soul strike &/or holy strike for melee range (they are skills not spells/signets) that do holy damage & really pack the punch on undead foes that are KD. I would recommend judges insight if you're not using dervs with holy damage already & if you're already smiting might as well include stregth of honor.
Of course this approach has high damage output to undead. it's a little slower vs margonites & and crags & mandragors & insects... but they aren't really that much of a threat with the right tactics...

To the OP: I have my legendary vanquisher and I pretty much breezed through all the campaigns until NF (this was before Zvanq and 7 hero parties).
I remember Joko's Domain and all those other areas giving me headaches because of those damned cavaliers. When you're in a wurm, it really doesn't matter too much who you bring as heros unless there are critical areas where you have to or can fight out of the wurms.
The only advice I can give you is to echo the need for lots and lots and lots of DP removal and honey combs or anything to give you and your heros a morale boost. In HM I will also keep popping candy apples and candy corn, or even a red rock candy since Nick has seen to gift me with a bunch of those. I have avoided cons since the candy and the combs appear to do the trick.
I feel your pain. NF was not a fun place to get vanquisher. At least you should know that the other campaigns were comparatively easy. Even the whole caravan vanq from Camp Rankor to Beacon's Perch was more sloggy than difficult.
